River Montessori Foundation is a public nonprofit educational organization with IRS 501(c)3 status. The goals of the River Montessori foundation are 1) to increase awareness of the Montessori philosophy and support the Montessori community, and 2) to raise needed funds for the school’s operating budget as well as for enrichment programs such as the Arts and World Language.
River Montessori Foundation members are parents - teachers, staff, students - and community members supporting River Montessori Charter School. We function as the parents’ organization for River Montessori Charter School but we also encourage ALL supporters of Montessori in the public school system to join us and participate in our meetings and activities.

We need your support! Please join us the first Monday of each month for our River Foundation meeting and check out our website rivermontessorifoundation.org for updates and the exact date and time of our meetings. All are welcome.

Family Activity Night
Every month, we sponsor an event generally every third Friday of the month from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Please check the school calendar for the monthly theme and exact date.

Boxtops - Look for the Box Tops cut it out and put it in the collection box in the front lobby.

Brain Freeze - Visit Brain Freeze every 4th Monday of each month and Brain Freeze Frozen Yogurt will donate 35 percent back to River. Brain Freeze is located at: 231 N McDowell Blvd., across from Burger King in the Raley’s shopping center.
Zoe’s Meats - Order online at www.zoemeats.com using the offer code RVM10 – receive 10% off each order, and 10% will be donated to River Montessori Foundation.
Scholastic Book Sales - Our classrooms benefit greatly through all of the credits earned by your purchases.

In order to fulfill our vision of this new charter school we will need community support in the form of monetary donations. We have IRS 501(c)3 status as a public non-profit educational corporation. All donors will receive a reciept for their tax-deductible contributions.

If you want to purchase something really important for the classrooms, consider pooling resources and buying a school laminator. Volunteers, teachers and students are making many materials that will be ruined if we do not laminate them for next year. The Entire School would benefit.
